Forward Call on WhatsApp
Hackers can get into your account and all calls with the “WhatsApp Forward Call” trick. They might trick you into dialing a number with a MMI code. If you answer, they can install WhatsApp and get your number. Then, they’ll call you for a code.
To avoid this, don’t call unknown numbers or trust messages from strangers.

How to determine whether WhatsApp has been compromised
